Due to the sudden insolvency of payment processor Wirecard, some Payoneer users may find they cannot withdraw or transfer funds from their Payoneer accounts.
We have also been affected, as we're currently unable to send payments to some Payoneer accounts.
This is a fluid situation. Regulators in several countries have swiftly ordered all payments related to Wirecard processing to be frozen. While many companies affected expect a swift resolution, there is no estimate for when the situation will change.
We expect Payoneer to find a way to route funds away from Wirecard very soon. If you have any concerns about your Payoneer funds, please contact Payoneer. However from our conversations with them, your funds are safe, they just need time to implement a new way to process transfers to & from your account.
Platform profit payouts are continuing, but will only be able to send profits to some sellers once the situation has been resolved. You can also change your settings in Platform to a PayPal account if you have one.
